Half Time bet

Hedging is a sports handicapping strategy where one places wagers on the opposing side in order to reduce possible losses.
A hook is when the bookie or house adds a half point to the betting lines of a game.
The hot game is the game that is attracting a lot of action for unknown reasons.
The limit is the maximum bet or wager amount a bookmaker will accept with the current odds.
The line in sports gambling, the money line or point spread on a sporting event.
The Line Maker is the person who is responsible with setting the odds on all games wagered. The odds set by the line maker and are what determine the spread and money line
The Long shot is the act of placing a sports bet on the team most unlikely to win.
The middle is the sports handicapping strategy of placing a bet on a both sides of a game with a fast moving spread. Betting on the underdog when the spread is large (+10) and betting on the favorite when the spread becomes smaller (4) winning both sides.
The money line refers to odds expressed in terms of money. When placing a bet on the underdog or the minus side (-75) you will have to bet seventy ($70) to win hundred dollars ($100), when placing a bet on the favorite or plus side (+120) you will receive hundred dollars ($100) for every one hundred and twenty ($120) wagered.
